We meet at the Corridor Cafe
2819 S 208th St, Seatac, WA 98198-5901
The building behind Napa Auto Parts

Ideas and energy are always welcome -- you don't have to be legally blind.

We meet the second Saturday of every month. Meetings last about one hour, so we can chit chat and forage for food.

Our chapter is affiliated with the Washington Council of the Blind and the American Council of the Blind.

FamilyConnect
This new site is for families of children with vision impairment. This looks to be an outstanding resource.

Job Seekers
Social Security allows you to find part-time work and receive benefits. Learn more at the Disability Planner. Know what the rules are before you contact Social Security. (Not eveyone at Social Security "gets it.")

Making the arts accessible
Arts and Visually Impaired Audiences (AVIA) is a fantastic organization. Their mission is to increase the knowledge of, and involvement in, the arts by the State of Washington's visual-impaired residents.

What is Blind Planet?

Our philosophy

People who are blind contribute much to society. With the right support, the blind break professional boundaries and make a difference in their communities.

We believe in the empowerment of the individual. Outreach to people newly diagnosed with permanent vision loss is vital. And we work together to change the public perception of the blind in South King County and beyond.
